Meet CogFirst: cognitive screening in 20 minutes

Some cognitive difficulties may not be immediately apparent. CogFirst provides an initial overview of performance through seven digital tests exploring attention, memory, executive functions and processing speed.

About 20 minutes
A median completion time of 20 minutes for the seven tests.

Several cognitive domains
Tasks explore visual memory, working memory, selective attention, planning, inhibitory control and mental flexibility.

Results available on completion
Results are calculated immediately, ready for professional review.

Screening to inform your next steps
Use the findings to identify areas for closer evaluation. CogFirst does not diagnose a brain injury or replace a comprehensive clinical assessment.

Developed through clinical research and collaboration.

CogFirst grew out of a collaboration between the Paris Brain Institute, Humans Matter and clinicians at Lariboisière Hospital, AP-HP.

Initially developed to explore cognitive difficulties in a neurosurgical setting, the project brings together clinical experience, cognitive research and digital assessment expertise. Research and validation continue across different clinical indications.
