Configure Patient Account

Once you have set up your patients’ accounts, you can select which exercises show up on each of their accounts.

By selecting the right exercises for them, you can keep them focused on training their targeted skills and boost their self-confidence.

Setting up the Patient Exercises will allow you to create a personalized experience targeting the needs of each patient.

It will allow you to choose what your patient can do in the program, so they can focus on what they need.

Accessing the Patient List of Exercises

To modify what exercises show up in your patients account, you will need to take the following steps:

  1. Log into your account
  2. Navigate to the “Users” section at the top of the screen
  3. Under the user list, click on the patient whose interface you would like to modify.
  4. Click on the “Exercises” tab

Now you can begin modifying which exercises are available.

Choosing the Right Program

There are 3 programs you can choose from depending on the patient you are working with. Each program has its own list of exercises and difficulty settings:

  1. Rehabilitation is the main program that has all the tools needed to adapt the training to any individual. It gives clinicians the most flexibility in choosing the exercises and their settings.
  2. CR – Psychiatry focuses on exercise for patients who are struggling with a psychiatric disorder that affects their cognitive functions. This program is a subset of the Rehabilitation program where only the relevant exercises have been included (21 out of 40+) and the difficulty progression system is adapted to this population. You can see it as “Pre-set” program for this specific population.
  3. Aging Well focuses on exercises to stimulate cognitive abilities of elders with no or mild cognitive impairment. Just like the previous program, it is a subset of the Rehabilitation program with only the relevant exercises have been included (22 out of 40+) and the difficulty progression system is adapted to this population (for example, there is never any time pressure).

If you have any doubt as to which program use, go for the Rehabilitation program as it’s the most complete and flexible.

Choosing the Exercises

To target on a more granular level, you can choose which exercises will be visible and accessible to the patient.

The exercises are organized by their main targeted cognitive area. To turn off any of these modules, click on “None” and to turn them back on, click on “All”.

Finally, you can view and sort exercises by alphabetical order, or manually disable or enable any exercise under the modules by toggling between the on and off options.

Finally, you can also turn each exercise on and off by toggling between the two options. To learn more about which exercise and determine whether it is right for your patients, click on the exercise title and a brief synopsis of the exercise will appear on the right hand side of the screen. You can also try the exercise at any of the basic levels from this screen.
